Villa L'Altet is a comfortable single-storey home enjoying lovely views over the surrounding countryside, but also of some struly spectacular sunsets over the horizon into the distant Mediterranean. Shares a tranquil hillside position with other villas.

Next to the villa is a lovely secluded area with an unusual shaped pool sit into a raised sunbathing terrace. It has a lovely garden.

Description of Area

Tormos, near Orba, Alicante, Costa BLanca, Spain

Tormos is a small and quiet village of about 300 inhabitants, and this town belongs with others to the area named Retoria. La Retoria is the area of four towns that are in a beautiful valley.

This area is ideal for quietness and peace, to be in contact with nature and have wonderful sea sight and mountain views at the same time, as Montgo Mountain can be seen from this area.

Through the national road 332 you can get to any other town near the coast but you have the privilege of being at 100 m over the sea’s level and at only a few kilometres from the sea.

Its economy is purely agriculture and the most dominant plantation is the orange groves, but it also has three little factories, one of handbags, the other of hats, and the other dedicated to the almond agriculture.

The local gastronomy is more or less the same as in the other towns; their characteristics are the use of natural and common ingredients in all their foods.

The local fiestas of this town are the first week of September in honour of their Saint San Luis Beltran. During these days there are dances, fire works, and parades in which the whole town collaborate.

Local Activities: Horse Riding ( in Benissa to 13 km), Golf ( to 11 km in C.G. La Sella in Pedreguer), Walking, Rent a Quads in Benissa ( to 13 km near the petrol station), Donkey riding in Jalón ( to 7 km), Hiking trails in Jalon (Bernia mountain), about 45 minutes by the motorway to the Water Parks of Benidorm (Aqualandia, Mundomar, Terra Mítica), about 30 minutes of Safari Park Vergel, you can also visit the coves of Benidoleig and the Valley of Ebo.

Local Area: Quiet bars, Restaurants, Distance to Local town centre 1 km, supermarket 1 km.
