a charming house in the village of Los Urrutias, Estrella de Mar just a five minute walk away from the beautiful beaches of the Mar Menor.
The house is close to the communal pool and club house. There are a shops and restaurants nearby.Within a short distance from the house you will find a fantastic selection of restaurants which offer national and international cuisine at very reasonable prices.
Not far away is La Manga Club which offers numerous championship golf courses, tennis courts, spa facilities and many other activities.
Closeby there is even a full size go-kart track and a roller skating rink so whether you prefer an action packed holiday or whether you prefer to spend your holiday on the beach, you can do either as there is something for everyone here.

The Mar Menor has warm shallow waters which are ideal for families with young children. The Mar Menor offers a variety of water sports and it is also famous for The Black Mud which is said to relieve the symptoms of rheumatism, arthritis and many other ailments. The area also has tennis courts which are open all year round and there are several golf courses to choose from.
Los Urrutias is just a 5 minute walk from the Mar Menor which is a large salt water lagoon. It has warm shallow waters which makes it ideal for families and also for water sports.
There are several sailing schools nearby and there are also scuba diving schools in the nearby village of Cabo de Palos.
Also available just a short drive away are tennis courts, golf courses and a full size go-kart track. There are local markets during the week and at weekends.
Description of the Town and Local Activities
Los Urrutias is located of the edge of the Mar Menor. The Mar Menor plays host to many water sports which include sailing, scuba diving and water skiing. Boat trips also run regularly from various spots around the Mar Menor. In the neighbouring villages there are daily markets which sell a vast range of fruit and vegetables, meat, fish and many other household items. Just a 15 minute drive away is La Manga Club which offers a whole host of activities, championship golf courses, tennis and spa facilities to name just a few. The are endless stretches of beach to choose from and even two seas to choose from. The Mediterrean offers perfect conditions for surfing and the Mar Menor has much calmer waters which make it a good spot for water skiing etc.
