Description of Area
MORAIRA - A pretty spanish town with a real fishing village atmosphere. Small colourful streets, full of charm to the newer part of the town with cafes and fashionable boutiques and continue to the sea and Look at the Marina or walk along the sandy beach. Go along to El Portet beach and watch the sun set behind the Penon de Ifach, nr Calpe, a large column of rock which rises from the Sea. Many Restaurants offering every sort of Cuisine.
Alicante Airport approx. 1 hr drive Valencia Airport approx. 1 hr 30 mins. Denia - approx. 25 mins. drive. Javea - approx. 20 mins. drive Jalon Valley is approx. 20 mins. drive Benidorm - approx. 35 mins. drive.
Golf - For those who are keen golfers, or for those wishing to take up the sport for the first time, there are many excellent courses to be enjoyed in Costa Blanca.
These include La Sella Golf Club in Denia (18 hole, par 72) and Club Javea in Javea (9 hole, par 72).
Motorway - The A7 motorway runs north to south a few kilometres from the coast, with junctions 62 and 63 connecting to Jàvea. The N332 from Valencia to Alicante passes through Gata de Gorgos, from which the A-134 branches off to Jàvea. The A-7 Motorway Interchange Nº 63 (Benissa and Teulada) is 3 klms from Teulada. Roads - The N332 provincial highway passes within 1 klm. of Teulada town and it is a further 6 klms. to Moraira Village.
Airports - The international airports of L'Altet (Alicante) at 90km, and Manises (Valencia) at 105km, provide links to the major European capitals.
Railways - The railway station at Teulada Town is served by the narrow-gauge service between Denia and Alicante. There is no interchange into the national network at Denia and at Alicante it is some distance across the city to the main-line station.
Bus Services - A daily bus service provides connections to Alicante and Valencia.
