This spacious apartment is situated in the village of Cabo de Palos, a large village located at the base of La Manga strip on the Mar Menor.
The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen, lounge area with TV and DVD player and also benefits from air conditioning. From the large terrace there are views over the Mar Menor. The terrace has a built in barbecue which is excellent for cooking and enjoying meals outdoors.
Cabo de Palos is a large village located at the base of La Manga strip. It has a good selection of shops and restaurants and is conveniently placed for the large Sunday market which comes to the village every week. On the seafront there are numerous restaurants to choose from offering many different types of food which cater for all tastes.
Nearby are the undeveloped beaches of Calblanque natural park which are next to the international diving centre of Cabo de Palos.

Cabo de Palos, Cala Azul, Mar Menor, Costa Calida, Spain
La Manga Club is just a 5 minute drive away which offers many championship golf courses, tennis courts, spa facilities and much more.
Aswell as the beaches of Calblanque, you also have the beaches of the Mediterranean and the Mar Menor. The Mar Menor is a large salt water lagoon which enjoys average water temperatures in the summer of 30c. With warm shallow waters, its the perfect spot for a vast range of water sports.
This area is also great for families as the water is warm and shallow for smaller children. The Mar Menor is also very good for the not so young as this area is home to The Black Mud which is said to relieve the symptoms of rheumatism, arhritis and many other ailments.
The surrounding areas are relatively flat and so its great for walking or cycling. Bikes can be hired all year round.
If you prefer not to hire a car, there are regular bus services to many destinations so you can explore further afield.
Other activities which are available in the area are horse riding, sailing, roller skating, go-karting and fishing. Whether young or old, families or couples, there is something for everyone.
This region of Spain is on the Costa Calida which is on the South East coast of Spain. It enjoys of average 320 days of sunshine each year and is one of the driest regions of Spain. This is therefore an ideal location for both summer and winter holidays.
The area is host to the Mar Menor (little sea) which is a unique salt water lagoon which has average water temperatures in the summer of 30c.
This area has miles of golden sandy beaches which remain largly unspoilt.
Cabo de Palos was once a thriving fishing village. Many fisherman still use this stretch of sea to catch the fish which are used in the local restaurants.
The village offers a vast range of shops and restaurants, including 2 large supermarkets. If you prefer to do as the locals do, you can buy fresh fruit and vegetables, meat and fish from the Sunday market which comes to the village all year round.
La Manga Club is only 5 minutes away by car and you can enjoy a whole host of activities such as golf, tennis, spa facilities to name just a few.
Also in the village are international diving centres which offer classes for everyone from novice to expert. There are also sailing schools in the area and they cater for many different water sports.
There is a full sized go-kart track very closeby and a bowling ally nearby too. You really can do as much or as little as you like here.
