This area of Spain enjoys an average of 320 days of sunshine each year and as its one of the driest regions of Spain, its a great spot for both summer and winter holidays.
The village of Mar De Cristal lies on the edge of the Mar Menor which is a large salt water lagoon which has an average water temperature of around 30c during the summer months. This is therefore and ideal spot for all sorts of water sports including scuba diving, water skiing and many more.
The famous La Manga Club is a short car ride away and offers championship golf courses, tennis courts, spa facilities and is home to the training grounds of English football teams. Within the area there is something for everyone, you can enjoy walking, cycling, go-karting or roller skating the choices are endless.
The region offers one of the driest climates in Spain. The area is famous for the Mar Menor which offers a whole host of water sports and is unique with warm shallow waters.
Mar de Cristal is an up and coming area which is located on the edge of Mar Menor. The Mar Menor is famous for The Black Mud which is said to help relieve pain from rheumatism, arthritis and many other ailments.
The Mar Menor meaning little sea is a large salt water logoon which offers a whole host of water sports including scuba diving, water skiing, sailing and many other activities. The village is located near to other villages which offer daily markets and is also close to La Manga Club which offers many activities which include golf, tennis and spa facilities.
