The house is situated in the village of Playa Paraiso which sits on the edge of the Mar Menor. The Mar Menor is a large salt water lagoon which is great for all types of water sports.The Mar Menor is also famous for The Black Mud which is said to help in the treatment of rheumatism, arthritis and many other ailments.
The area has a whole host of cuisine to choose from including national and international dishes at very reasonable prices.
With an average of 320 days of sunshine each year and also being one of the driest regions of Spain, this is an ideal spot for both summer and winter holidays.
This area caters for all ages and there is something for everyone.

Description of the Town and Local Activities
Playa Paraiso is located on the edge of the Mar Menor. The warm shallow waters make it an ideal spot for watersports which include scuba diving, water skiing, sailing and many more.
There are tennis courts which are open to the public all year round aswell as a roller-skating rink, and a full size go-kart track.
La Manga Club is just a 10 minute drive away which offers a whole host of activities which include championship golf courses, tennis, spa facilities and much more.
The area is relatively flat which makes it ideal for walking or cycling and bikes can be hired from nearby.
The surrounding villages offer markets of varying days of the week and they sell a vast selection of fruit & vegetables, fish, meats and household goods.
The area is close to shops and restaurants, but just a short car drive away allows you to choose from national and international dishes at very reasonable prices.
Boat trips can also be organised from several spots around the Mar Menor.
