Description of apartment
Apartment 2, near Calahonda and Puerto Cabopino, is a 3 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment on the 4th (top) floor of the Artola Gardens block.
Our second apartment on this floor is next door, so the accommodation is also suitable for 2 families holidaying together or a large group.
The lower floor has a living room with dining area, and a separate kitchen. Sliding glass doors open onto the double balcony which is south facing with views over the landscaped gardens and the Mediterranean Sea.
On this floor there is also a double bedroom with glass sliding doors opening on to the balcony, and a bathroom with shower and bath.
Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms, one double and one twin, and a second bathroom with shower, bath and bidet. Light and ventilation are provided by Velux windows set into the sloping ceilings.
The apartment is fully equipped for 8 guests. All bed linen, towels, crockery, cutlery, and kitchen utensils are supplied. Cooking facilities consist of an electric hob and combination microwave/electric oven. There is also a washing machine and a drying rack for the balcony. Electric kettle, deep fat fryer and sandwich toaster complete the kitchen facilities.
The living area has a double sofa-bed to accommodte a further 2 people, easy chairs, satellite TV with BBC package including Sky news etc, a video recorder and a hi-fi music centre, also dining table and chairs. Other facilities include ironing board and iron, hair-dryer, and lockable safety deposit box for your valuables.
The spacious double balcony has easy chairs, sun-loungers and an extra sitting/dining area. The balcony looks South over the Mediterranean with views down the coast to Gibraltar, and overlooks the Hotel Artola's golf course and landscaped gardens.

Description of Area
Situated near Calahonda and Puerto Cabopino beach and marina, 7 miles (12km) north of Marbella, and only 20 minute's drive from Malaga airport. The apartment block is situated just off the main coastal highway.
The beach and sand dunes of Cabopino are less than 10 minutes walk, and there are local restaurants and bars, also a mini-market and Bank close by. The picturesque port of Puerto Cabopino is 10 minutes stroll down the beach, with its beautiful Marina, sea fishing, beach sports and excellent restaurants and bars, where freshly caught seafood is the speciality. Calahonda is the nearest main commercial centre, (3 stops on the local bus or 20 mins walk) with large Supermarkets, McDonalds and all amenities.
This part of the Costa del Sol is in the heart of the "Costa del Golf", which boasts many landscaped 18-hole golf courses within easy reach, including the 18 hole Cabopino course nearby. There is also a newly built miniature 18 hole course opposite the apartment block. Las Chapas, Miraflores and Siesta courses are also nearby. Golf packages to any course can be arranged at discounted rates, also taxi or car hire from Malaga airport.
Coach tours and day trips can be arranged locally, to visit family attractions such as Selwo Animal theme park, Tivoli World at Benalmadena, the Aquapark and Zoo at Fuengirola or dolphin watching and sea fishing off the coast. Shopping trips to Gibraltar, the caves of Nerja, and places of historical interest such as Granada, Seville and Ronda are also popular day trips.
