Description of apartment
Edificio Monterrey is a two bedroom apartment situated in the centre of Torre del Mar, and only some 3 minutes or so walk to the beach.
The apartment has been totally renovated (in 2004) and can sleep four persons in the two bedrooms, with the addition of a sofa bed suitable for a child.
The separate kitchen is very well equiped with a ceramic hob, microwave oven, fridge freezer and washing machine.
The apartment block is in the Plaza (square) de la Paz, which is the location for the weekly Thursday morning market. There is a supermarket within 50 metres and bars and restaurantes all around the plaza.
The taxi rank and bus station are only a short stroll away, as is the seafront promonade which has tennis courts, beach bars and a wide expanse of sandy beaches.

Torre del Mar is a very Spanish town some 25 minutes drive east of the serving airport of Málaga. Serviced by an excellent road system, which places it in a unique position to visit the major cities of Andalusia; i.e. Cordoba, Seville and Granada. As well as the famous white villages of La Axarquia region and the ski slopes of the Sierra Nevada.
The area is ideal for the pursuits of walking; riding, painting, golf, twitching etc as well as lazing on the wide beaches and outstanding seafront.Torre del Mar in Axarquia region of Andalucia in the Costa del Sol, Spain. The seafront promenade is 3-4 minutes walk from the apartment on the level. It received an award for being one of the best Paseos in Europe
